We’re hosting the next Service Design Work out at our HQ!
May 7th 2014, ‘Service Design Netwerk Nederland’ organises its seventh interactive session under the name ‘New research methods in Service Design’. The Work out will take place at Contextmapp’s Headquarters @Rokin 69, Amsterdam from 7-9 pm.
Research in Service Design
During this session we will discover new (online) research tools and methods for Service Design. What are they adding to the ‘research-mix’? What insights will they provide? For what kind of projects will they be applicable? During this session you can also try one of the tools yourself. Remko van der Lugt (Hogeschool Utrecht) will kick-off the session, after which we’ll have three talks:
Froukje Sleeswijk Visser (TU Delft / Zilver) will be speaking about 7days: an online tool for sensitizing respondents. She will share her personal experiences with the tool. More info about 7days can be found on www.7daysinmylife.com.
Guest speaker Marco van Heerde (Somehow) will then be speaking about mobile apps and applications in which contextual data is collected in order to gain a better understanding of the end user.
Robbert-Jan van Oeveren (Koos Service Design) will share his experience with Contextmapp: a mobile research platform through which user research is done in the user’s own context, by using their smartphones. See www.contextmapp.com for more information.
Over the course of the evening there is the possibility to try out Contextmapp in an interactive workshop.
